Recruitment

Wake Forest has a deferred recruitment process meaning that for incoming freshman, recruitment begins before the start of spring semester. Approximately a week before classes begin, all Potential New Members (PNMs) and current sorority members will arrive on campus for the recruitment process. These girls will spend four days discovering each sorority's distinguishing characteristics and unique personality with the whole process culminating on Bid Day. Beginning in November, all PNMs will be placed into small groups headed by a Greek Recruitment Counselor, or Gamma Rho Chi (GRC). These GRCs are upperclassmen who have temporarily disaffiliated from their respective sororities in order to offer a knowledgeable source of information as well as an abundance of support throughout the process.

With more than 250,000 members in over 130 different chapters at colleges and universities in the US and Canada, Kappa Alpha Theta is known as a leading women's group. Our women can be found making an impact everywhere on campus. Whether its intramural sports, philanthropic or service events, or even just a casual break on the quad with their sisters, our girls are sure to be there sporting our black and gold. We look forward to getting to know you during the upcoming recruitment process and remember, why walk when you can fly?
